To deeply implement the "One Planet, One Health" concept and promote the innovative application and collaborative exchange of food and medicinal plant resources in global health and sustainable development, a special symposium was held in Paris during the 62nd Salon International de l’Agriculture (SIA). The event was hosted by the International Academy of Food and Phytomedicine (IAFPH), with the participation of representative members from IAFPH International Joint Laboratories.

The symposium aimed to bring together experts and scholars from Europe, Africa, and China to explore cutting-edge research and practical pathways for food and medicinal plant resources in disease prevention, nutrition and health, sustainable agriculture, and industrial transformation. It also highlighted the future of food for deep-space exploration, specifically research on Black Soldier Flies. The meeting aimed to deepen international academic exchange and cooperation and was held across the China Pavilion in Hall 7.1 and the Medicine and Food Homology International Exhibition Area.

It has laid a more solid foundation for cooperation among France, China, and Africa in scientific research synergy, alignment of standards, and industrial transformation.
