As an important contribution to the establishment of the Paris Traditional Medicine Cultural Center, IAFPH responded precisely to the center’s operational needs by donating an Amur meridian-warming and visceral-tonifying moxibustion bed, a Fuyang-specific moxibustion device, authentic handmade moxa sticks from Wangwu Mountain, as well as a complete set of supporting accessories and consumable materials for moxibustion, thereby providing comprehensive support for the center’s core functions, including wellness experience programs, public cultural outreach, and the promotion of traditional therapeutic techniques.
In his remarks, Zhong Cheng stated that the center will uphold the philosophy of diverse health exchange and, with the support of the professional equipment donated by IAFPH, enable the wisdom of traditional medicine to benefit a broader public.

The International Academy of Food and Phytomedicine Homology (IAFPH) is an international non-profit research institution registered in Paris, France. Guided by the core concept of “food and phytomedicine homology” and the vision of “One Planet, One Health,” it moves beyond a single-discipline research framework to promote the coordinated development of human, animal, and environmental health from an integrated perspective spanning food, plants, health, and ecosystems. Its activities extend across the full chain of basic research, technology development, research translation, cultural communication, and compliance consulting, with a focus on five core areas: medicinal plants and natural products, veterinary medicine, feed and animal health, functional nutritional foods, plant-based pharmaceutical research and development, and international industrial compliance. Committed to deepening the integration of traditional medical wisdom with modern scientific research and technology, the institution aims to build a scientific, international, and sustainable system for health research and exchange. Backed by its research capacity and international outlook, IAFPH has established a cooperation network spanning China, France, and several African countries. It has developed close partnerships with the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD), the Center of Research for Energy and Climate Change at Paris School of Business, and leading Chinese universities including Henan University of Chinese Medicine, Henan Agricultural University, and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Through these collaborations, it has promoted exchanges among diverse traditional medical systems, including traditional Chinese medicine, Arab medicine, and ancient Greek medicine.
Yang Zhiming, Secretary-General of IAFPH, stated that the donation of these care-oriented devices not only represents a concrete step by the institution to fulfill its public-interest mission and promote the international dissemination of traditional medicine, but also helps build a solid bridge for health exchange between China and France.
He added that, in the future, IAFPH will continue to build on its research strengths, international cooperation network, and professional framework to deepen collaboration with the Paris Traditional Medicine Cultural Center. Working closely with Dr. Feng Shixing and his team, the institution will further advance public education on traditional medicine and wellness services, promote the wider dissemination of traditional medicine culture and the translation of research, and contribute professional expertise to the building of a global health community.
