Delegation of University Representatives from Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal Visits Henan Femal Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Recently, organized and promoted by the International Academy of Food and Phytomedicine Homology (IAFPH), a delegation of African university representatives—including YALACÉ YAMBA KABORET, Director General of the Inter-State School of Veterinary Sciences and Medicine (EISMV) in Dakar, Senegal, and YOBOUE VERONIQUE, President of Nangui Abrogoua University in Côte d'Ivoire—visited Femal Biotechnology. The parties held a special symposium on cooperation in animal health and livestock development. The exchange focused on the practical needs of the African livestock industry, with key discussions on African Swine Fever (ASF) prevention and control, breeding technology training, the transformation of animal health products, and the construction of localized service systems. This visit has laid a solid foundation for subsequent Sino-French-African agricultural science and technology cooperation and industrial implementation.

During the symposium, the Femal Biotechnology team and the African representatives engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as the development needs of African livestock industry, animal disease prevention and control, talent training, and localized services.

This exchange focused on the practical needs of the African livestock industry. The African representatives stated that there is a strong demand locally for animal health-related products and technical services. Particularly in areas such as professional swine industry talent cultivation, breeding technology training, disease detection services, and African Swine Fever (ASF) prevention and control, they expressed a desire to establish a more pragmatic cooperative relationship with Chinese enterprises and professional institutions.

Zhang Shaozheng, Chairman of Femal Biotechnology, stated during the exchange that the enterprise possesses the technical and product foundations to further cooperate on the practical needs raised by the African side, such as animal health services, breeding technology training, and African Swine Fever (ASF) prevention and control. Relying on long-term collaboration with scientific research teams from universities such as the College of Veterinary Medicine at Henan Agricultural University, Femal Biotechnology has developed distinct advantages in veterinary medicine R&D, the application of disease prevention and control technologies, and the transformation of industry-university-research achievements. The enterprise is ready to continue deepening its engagement with African partners in areas including talent cultivation, student training, technical guidance, and product application.

President Jean-Yves Moisseron of IAFPH further stated that subsequent cooperation should take capacity building as a key entry point. On the premise of fully understanding the local industrial foundation and practical needs, efforts should be made to gradually promote training exchanges, technical demonstrations, and localized services. IAFPH will continue to play its role as a coordinating platform, driving pragmatic alignment between Chinese enterprises, scientific research forces, and African partners to create the necessary conditions for the standardized and steady implementation of animal health-related technologies and products in the region.

During the visit, the African representatives also toured the relevant workshops, laboratories, and product display areas of Femal Biotechnology, gaining a deeper understanding of the enterprise's practical capabilities in R&D, production, testing, and quality control.
