The International Academy of Food and Phytomedicine Homology (IAFPH) and the Inter-State School of Veterinary Sciences and Medicine (EISMV) of Dakar O

On April 3, the International Academy of Food and Phytomedicine Homology (IAFPH) and the Inter-State School of Veterinary Sciences and Medicine (EISMV) of Dakar officially signed a scientific research cooperation agreement. This marks a significant step forward in international scientific collaboration between the two parties within the "One Health" framework.

According to the agreement, both parties will collaborate on the "food-health nexus," the value transformation of medicinal plants, and traditional medicine research. Through scientific research, academic exchanges, and the transformation of achievements, the two sides aim to promote international synergistic innovation in related fields. The agreement specifies that a coordination mechanism involving research leads will be established to continuously follow up on research implementation, project adjustments, and the protection and publication of results.

In terms of the division of labor, EISMV will provide academic support by leveraging its research experience, academic networks, and foundation in medicinal plant development, traditional medicine research, and the "food-health" intersection. IAFPH will provide scientific research support resources to the best of its ability, including funding for academic conferences, academic awards, support for doctoral students and young researchers, research mobility, research plans, and experimental equipment support, ensuring the sustained advancement of the collaborative research.

The signing of this agreement not only expands the cooperation network between IAFPH and high-level professional institutions in Africa but also establishes a more solid platform for future international scientific synergy centered on One Health, "medicine and food homology," and traditional medicine. IAFPH will take this opportunity to continue promoting cross-regional, interdisciplinary, and cross-cultural research cooperation, fostering knowledge sharing and innovative development in related fields.
